Owner/Master Stylist

Over the course of Suzanne’s nearly 25 years working as a hairstylist, she focused on the art of the consultation. Listening carefully to each guest, asking the right questions and educating them have been the key to her success. In 2008, with the goal of creating an environment filled with wonderful people, great conversation, stellar customer service and creativity, Suzanne launched Salon 22.

In 2021, Suzanne was hired as an AVEDA PUREfessional Color Educator. With this honor she had the privilege of training directly under AVEDA’s global artistic director of hair color. For 3 years, this role had Suzanne traveling to salons in the New England area where she educated their teams on the ‘nuts and bolts’ of AVEDA hair color.

Suzanne continues her love of educating through mentoring her team.

With over 20 years of salon customer service experience, Jennifer joined the Salon 22 team in 2018. From the beginning, she knew she had found her salon home. “Our little salon is a hidden jewel and we are lucky to have such wonderful people visiting us every day” Jennifer is at her best when she is supporting her team and ensuring that every guest receives the best salon experience.

When she is not with the Salon 22 family, she is busy chasing her twin teenage girls around CT.

Stylist

After many years of experimenting on friends and family’s hair, Edisa became a professional hair stylist in 2010 and has enjoyed being in the industry ever since. “The most rewarding part of my career is having the ability to make clients look and feel confident about themselves.”Building confidence in others starts in understanding each client as an individual.

Edisa stays on top of the latest trends by continuing education. This allows her to create new looks for clients, while maintaining the health and integrity of the hair. The all-natural and high performing Aveda line allows her to achieve just that. She is proud to be a part of a team of professionals committed to providing quality and environmentally friendly hair services.

Stylist

With over 17 years experience, Heidi first got into the craft of hairdressing in 2004 at Capri Cosmetology Learning Center in New York. While working full time as a stylist and colorist in NYC, she attended and graduated summa cum laude from the Fashion Institute of Technology holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Cosmetic and Fragrance Marketing and was then hired by Estée Lauder Companies.

In 2011, Heidi became a Stylist Network Educator for Bumble and Bumble. With in-salon classes across the country, Eventually, Heidi began traveling to AVEDA and Bumble and Bumble salons across the country to help grow their businesses, and soon became the Assistant Director of the AVEDA Institute in Jacksonville, Florida.

Stylist

After years of doing hair for herself and others, Hilary finally decided to make a career out of a hobby! Upon graduating from the Aveda Institute, Provo, in 2012, Hilary developed a deep love for all things Aveda. For years, she honed her passion for textured colors and cuts while working with a variety of product lines. After a move from Western USA, Hilary is thrilled to be recommitted to Aveda alongside the great team at Salon 22. Working with a team of professionals who inspire Hilary fuels her passion for growth and creativity.

Hilary loves all things hair and lashes, but especially enjoys cutting shorter and unique styles.

Stylist

With life-long dreams of one day becoming a professional hairdresser, Gianna’s passion for the beauty industry was apparent from a very young age. Following High School, Gianna attended the International Institute of Cosmetology and successfully completed the program in 2016. Upon graduation, Gianna worked as an apprentice while she continued to hone her craft, eventually building a book of clients while working alongside her mentor. When the opportunity to take on a new challenge arose, Gianna jumped at the chance to bring her talents to her own private salon suite. Pursuing yet another opportunity, Gianna’s talents brought her back to where it all started! Along with continuing her work behind the chair, Gianna has spent the last 4 years sharing her knowledge and skills as a full time educator and mentor to aspiring stylists.

Gianna specializes in textured hair, color, and cutting, having developed extensive knowledge and expertise in these areas.
